About The Artist

I work in a variety of mediums. It keeps things fun, and allows me to offer personalized art for anyone, with affordable options available. Though animals are most common in my artwork, I have expertise in several types of subject matter from human portraiture, pet portraiture, landscape, waterscape, architecture, and wildlife art.

I received my BFA from Stephen F. Austin State University (Go Lumberjacks!) in painting and drawing, with a minor in digital media. Biology was also an area of study that I was intensely focused on, with anatomical comparisons my favorite subject. It's thanks to those studies that I have a deeper understanding of the form and shape of what I'm drawing or painting, to make a realistic artwork.

My work is carried by the Dutch Art Gallery of Dallas, Tx. I strongly encourage a visit to the gallery if you are in the area. It is beautiful, full of wonderful and supportive people, and the best framing options I've ever come across. They even design their own unique frames! You won't find that at a typical frame store.

My work is award winning, and I have donated paintings for fundraising charities. If you are aware of any organizations that I may be able to help with a piece of art for fundraising purposes, I am always open to the information as I love to help where I can for the right causes.

Currently, I am working on videos of my process that will teach anyone interested in my methodology. Soon, I will also offer classes for artists of all levels and multiple mediums, so keep an eye out for upcoming information. Sign up with my e-mail list and you will be kept informed when new artwork becomes available, when my commission slots are open, shows my work is hanging in, and demonstrations.
